LANG-MOVING COVID-19 Customer Questions & Answers
The health and safety of our employees, as well as the mitigation of potential service disruptions to our customers, are the top priorities for LANG-MOVING. Our company has a majority-remote workforce with teams distributed across Europe. Given the current global situation with COVID-19, we have implemented a work-from-home policy to promote the health and wellbeing of our employees, their families, and our communities.
As moving company, we have natural resilience and processes in place to continue to deliver on all aspects of our business. Move planning, coordination, physical origin and destination services as well as tranportation are designed and deployed by the FIDI-Family worldwide partners. At this time, we do not anticipate any impact on our ability to continue to render services to our customers.
Will in-person meetings with sales and service delivery (e.g, consulting, training) still take place?
The health and safety of our employees, customers and partners are important to us. We have a robust remote-trained team that can handle most inquiries and interactions via phone, email and video. Should an in-person interaction be deemed critical, we can work with you to determine the best course of action. Please contact your sales representative, move coordinator and/or risk and claim manager.
Will LANG-MOVING still participate at industry events?
We have decided to not participate in any event or gathering with more than 50 people, or those requiring business travel, until the end of April. We will evaluate and update this approach as the situation progresses.
What will happen if on site inspection of our move-consultant for move-planning and/or bidding is not welcome?
In electronic survey can be done by our clients/your employees by our internet based platform https://lang.meinumzug.online/ – just follow the instructions.
What will happen to LANG-MOING Vienna?
LANG-MOVING Vienna. However, we are constantly reviewing the official statements of the Austrian Government based on the latest information. Please be assured that if there are any changes to the actual frame conditions or government supervision we will notify.
Who will be our primary point of contact if our moveconsultant and/or move-coordinator is out for an extended period?
In the event that your move-coordinator or move-consultant needs to be out of work for an extended period due to illness, we will contact you with a plan for the duration of their absence. Our team members are all cross-trained, and their ongoing thorough record-keeping enables them to step in for one another if needed.
What are the plans to cover widespread employee absences in the event that the situation gets more serious?
Our company has a majority-remote workforce with teams distributed in Vienna and all over Europe. This structure of the FIDI-Group offers a natural resilience and the inherent advantage of having tools and processes in place to continue our business operations uninterrupted.
